Game #12 Capsule

Game four (4) of four (4) of the Subway Series between the Cubs and Giants with the Giants dominating the series 3 - 0.   The Home team Cubs would take the field first sending pitching ace Zack Walker to the mound, The Giants would not be kind to the cub pitcher(s) as thirteen (13) hitters made a plate appearance.  Sam Hamilton would start off with a free pass.  Andrew Bishop would then come to the plate and GO YARD, sending his 2nd HOME RUN BALL DEEP of the season over left center.  Wil Mayes would pop up to CF for out #1.  Logan Tinnel would card a double, Tate Mayes drew a walk, Taylor Mullins woould single, Billy Rapp would draw a walk.  Traveis Miller would card a single, Marshall Newlon would draw a free pass, Sam Hamilton and Andrew Bishop would single Will Mayes would hit back at the pitcher who would field the ball and make the throw to first for out #2.  Logan Tinnel would hit a foul ball up and he would be call out as the catche would make the catch.  The Giants would score eight (8) runs.

The Cubs would come to  bat against Logan Tinnel who would make the start for the Giants.  Tinnel would allow six (6) runs facing nine (9) Cub hitters, allowing one (1) base hit issueing four (4) walks and a fielding error in left field.  Tinnel would strike out two (2) Cub hitters and the third out was pop fly caught by the Giant 3rd baseman.

After one (1) complete inning Giants 8 - Cubs 6

The Giants returned to bat and would send sixteen (16) batters to the plate.  The Giants would only card two (2) outs in the inning before the home plate umpire called an end to the onslaught and would make the Giants take the field.  The inning started with Tate Mayes with a single, Taylor Mullins would card the only out of the inning with a pop fly caught by the Cubs second baseman. Billy Rapp would hit a long ball into left center for a triple, Miller, Newlon and Hamilton would draw walks, Bishop would single.  Will Mayes would reach base on error by the scond baseman, Logan Tinnel would hit into a fielders choice (Mayes 2nd), for out #2, Tate Mayes, Mullins and Rapp would hit singles, Miller would card a walk, marshall Newlon would come out of his hitting slump and hit a hard ball off 1st base for a single.  Hamilton and Bishop would also single and the inning was stopped.  The Giants scored thirteen (13) Runs.  

Tinnel would start the 2nd inning, and issue a walk, the runner would steal 2nd base but woudl come off the bag for out #1.  The 2nd and 3rd batters would strike out.  1 - 2 - 3 inning with some help.
